Dr. Eisenstein's areas of expertise include patient throughput, emergency department administration, and emergency preparedness. He currently serves on a number of committees at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, including the Graduate Medical Education Committee, the Managed Care Committee, the Board of Governors, and is Chair of the Clinical Care Committee. He has also received research for his projects entitled, "The Wait Study: Improving Time Efficiency, Patient Flow, and Patient Satisfaction While Overcoming Overcrowded Emergency Departments in an Single Hospital Setting" and "Cost Effectiveness of Language Services in Hospital Emergency Departments". Dr. Eisenstein is a member of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
